Our research explores the development of novel methods in organic synthesis, with a strong emphasis on photochemical reactions and catalytic strategies for selective C–H functionalization. By combining experimental work with computational chemistry, we gain detailed mechanistic insight into reactive intermediates and light-driven processes. Quantum chemical calculations are used to rationalize reactivity and selectivity and to guide the design of new, efficient, and sustainable transformations in organic synthesis.
