Working field:

• interaction of polyphilic and amphiphilic  molecules with lipid membranes (bilayers)
• influence of the polyphilic/amphipilic molecules on structure and dynamics of the lipid molecules

Methods:

• solid-state NMR
  • magic-angle spinning, several nuclei (¹H, ¹³C, ³¹P, ¹⁹F, ²H)
  • dipolar couplings from ¹³C-¹H correlation (DIPSHIFT)
  • relaxation measurements (e.g. ¹³C-T₁)
